Memory loss is caused by the destruction of brain cells during the development of Alzheimer's disease. Challenges in planning and simple tasks, confusion with time or place, and trouble understanding relationships can be a result of memory loss which is caused by damaged brain cells. New problems with speaking or writing can be a result of the certain parts of the brain being destroyed. The ability to read and write comes from different parts of the brain. Misplacing things and poor judgement can be a result of memory loss. Withdrawal from activities and a change of moods and personality can be a result of not being able to remember things which can make a person get frustrated easily.
